Information you give us
The website enquiry form asks for contact details, a postcode and a short description of the help being requested. You should share only the health information needed to explain the immediate care question.
Care finder answers are kept in your browser session until you send the enquiry. They are not placed in the web address.
Why we use it
For an enquiry, our lawful basis may include taking steps at your request before a contract and our legitimate interests in responding. If care begins, other bases may include contract and legal obligation.
Health information is special category data. Where it is necessary, it is handled under the conditions that apply to health or social care, safeguarding and the protection of vital interests, as appropriate.
How website enquiries are handled
A successful website submission is sent by email to the relevant YourCare Support inbox through Resend. It is not stored in a website database.
If sending fails, the website shows an error and does not claim that the enquiry was received.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand broad patterns such as which pages are visited. It does not use analytics cookies, so the website does not show a cookie banner for this measurement.
Do not include health information or other private details in page addresses. Care finder answers remain in your browser session and are not sent to analytics through the web address.
Your rights
UK data protection law gives you rights over your personal information. These can include access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, depending on the circumstances.
